Pressure by Promise

One of my Sims-related goals for the new year is to get myself a proper new computer, because I’ve been without one with good Simming abilities for almost a year and a half — I am really craving good graphics and want to create more things! It would be nice not to have to kill my netbook trying to fit it all on there, too.

So looking at my schedule this year and especially the heavy load of university courses I’m taking next semester (and the little amount of holidays before summer), the best time to get said computer is probably this month! That’ll give me a holiday week around the turn of the month to assemble custom parts together and configure and install (after which the university madness begins), not to mention that I have to stop putting things off and actually get around to doing them. :)

To enforce this personal resolution I promise to show you my ugliest neighbourhood if I don’t have (the parts to) a new computer at the close of the month! Which I really don’t want to do because it is an awful and pointless one :D So there! Now I have to take action and decide on computer parts. Any suggestions as to processors or graphics cards? ^_^
